Outlast fibre was originally developed for NASA space suits. Its ability to optimise the body's temperature during sleep has been appreciated - it can be cooling, warming or neutral depending on your needs. The quilt is covered in cotton with the addition of bamboo fibre, which has antiseptic properties.
